Celebrate Rice Dumpling Festival with PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road
(Singapore, 15 June 2020) – Celebrate The Dragon Boat Festival, or Duan Wu Jie (端午节) at home with Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road’s unique interpretation of the traditional Rice Dumplings, along with a compilation of Chef’s recommendations in a six-course set menu. Customers can place orders via the e-shop from now until 30 June 2020.
Executive Chef Leung Wing Chung and his culinary brigade unveils a brand new dumpling flavor this year - the Flower Tea Rice Dumpling with Assorted Beans (五花茶六豆粽) that is both aromatic and nutritious. Cooked to perfection with delightful fragrance from the Chrysanthemum and Chinese Licorice, diners with a sweet tooth can enjoy the rice dumpling dipped in honey for an even sweeter finish. This festive treat is available in the six-course festive set and a la carte menu at SGD16.80 (set of five dumplings).
The Traditional Cantonese Dumpling with Abalone and Goose Liver Sauce (鲍鱼鹅肝酱裹蒸粽) is truly an indulgence wrapped in a parcel. Packed with premium ingredients such as Roast Duck, Abalone, Goose liver, winter mushroom, just to name a few, and put through a six-hour-long of delicate steaming process, this generously stuffed dumpling delivers a myriad of flavours in each bite. Available for a la carte orders at SGD16.80+ per piece.
Complete your celebration at home with the restaurant’s festive six-course menu at SGD49.90+ per persons. A minimum of two diners is required to order.
