Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant on Beach Road brings authentic taste of Sichuan-style cuisine to a new level

[11 APRIL 2023, SINGAPORE] Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL on Beach Road is launching its latest addition to the menu, capturing the flavours of home – Signature Sichuan-style Mala Butter Hotpot crafted by Master Chef Dave Lai. It is a simmering pot of broth using quality ingredients and traditional Sichuan spices, ensuring a flavourful authentic taste and experience, accompanying a myriad of fresh seafood, premium meats, various vegetables and other must-have ingredients that are locally sourced and delivered daily.

Master Chef Dave Lai, who brings 25 years of experience with him, specialises in Chinese cuisine as well as research and development of a myriad of cuisines, including Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hunan cuisine. Leading the acclaimed fine-dining Si Chuan Dou Hua restaurant, Chef Dave aims to introduce a new and innovative twist on Sichuan cuisine.

“By combining classic Sichuan flavours with modern culinary techniques and unique ingredients, the restaurant aims to offer a one-of-a-kind dining experience that showcases the rich and vibrant flavours of Sichuan cuisine in a new light”. General Manager of PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Kung Teong Wah shares. “It has been an exciting journey with Chef Dave. With his creativity and accrued experience, we cannot wait to share this experience paired with IG-worthy hot pot and a tantalising menu that fits all.” Added Teong Wah.

While traditional Sichuan-style hotpot is known for its spicy and flavourful broth, some prefer milder and less spicy options, and Boiled King Garoupa Bones with Preserved Capsicum and Double-boiled Imperial Fish Maw Collagen are specially crafted broths to satisfy diverse taste preferences. To complete the experience and complement the cooked meats and vegetables, the restaurant offers Spicy Sichuan Specialty Sauce, adding an extra burst of flavour to every bite.

The new addition is available from now till 31 December 2023, making it the perfect dining option for any occasion. Customers can enjoy a cosy night with friends and family or book a private room for larger gatherings. With a commitment to a promising and quality dining experience, advanced reservation is required.
