Pan Pacific Yangon Opened in Style in the Heart of Yangon
Singapore, 11 December 2017 – Pan Pacific Yangon has opened its doors officially in Yangon, the cultural and economic heart of Myanmar. More than 350 guests turned up last Friday for a first look of the hotel at a grand ceremony officiated by the Union Minister of Hotels and Tourism, His Excellency U Ohn Maung, the Chief Minister of Yangon Region, His Excellency U Phyo Min Thein, and Singapore’s Ambassador to Myanmar, His Excellency Mr Robert Chua.

Taking charge at Pan Pacific Yangon is William Lau, who comes from an extensive sales and marketing background which spanned 20 years. He brings a track record for driving excellent financial returns while he was with Ramada Hotel International, Renaissance International Group and the InterContinental Hotels Group. William has amassed experience as the General Manager of numerous hotels across Southeast Asia and China, and was most recently the pre-opening General Manager of Intercontinental Nantong in Jiangsu Province, China.
