Pan Pacific Manila celebrates Earth Hour 2019
22 March 2019, Manila – Pan Pacific Manila will join millions of people in the observance of Earth Hour on 30 March 2019. This year, the hotel will not only switch off lights in its main public and office areas from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, it will also host a ceremonial Parade of Lights at the lobby culminating at the symbolical lighting of the Earth Hour logo installation at the 7th floor.
Meanwhile, diners are invited to revel in the beauty of nature and the night sky and enjoy “Movie Under The Stars” at the al fresco Sunset Lounge & Bar as we host a special screening of the movie 2012 starring John Cusack from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, followed by Unplugged acoustic performances and an interpretative Tron-dance number to the Disney song “Colours of the Wind”.
To make the evening more indulgent, Unlimited Pasta and Wings will be available from 6:00pm to 9:30pm for only Php 399 net per person where foodies can spice up their chicken wings in Buffalo, Smoky Cajun, Blue Cheese, and Provençale flavors and pair it with infinite servings of gourmet Penne, Linguini, or Tortellini pasta available in Carbonara, Pomodoro, Pesto, and Arrabiata sauce.
Earth Hour is a project initiated by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) with the objective of drawing awareness to the negative effects of global warming and campaign for a collective effort to stop climate change.
