LIME Restaurant Romances with a Nonya Love Affair
Singapore, 20 March 2020 – From 19 March to 28 May 2020,PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering’s LIME Restaurant is introducing its all-new Peranakan à la carte buffet that will have you falling in love with Straits-Chinese cuisine all over again. A refreshing change from the open-kitchen restaurant’s usual self-help buffet spread, traditional delights are served “strait” to your table so you can focus on catching up with your family and friends.
Diners can look forward to savouring the true essence of the Peranakan heritage with traditional classics like Babi Pongteh, Ayam Buah Keluak, Itek Sio and Assam Udang Nenas, and it would definitely not be too much to expect the staples of every Peranakan meal – Nonya Chap Chye and Steamed Butterfly Pea Rice.
A nostalgic sweet ending awaits as you dig into a bowl of the classic Cendol dessert or the restaurant’s much-loved D24 Durian Pengat should you prefer to round off your meal with bolder flavours.
Exclusively for dinner, enjoy a complimentary serving of Rock Lobster with Nonya Chilli Cuka – baked lobster coated in a tangy blend of garlic, lime and red chilli – that will surely turn things up a notch.
