An Exquisite Feast of Comforting Cantonese Delicacies for Mum at Hai Tien Lo
This Mother’s Day, from 3 to 9 May 2021, Pan Pacific Singapore’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant Hai Tien Lo celebrates motherhood with two exquisite set menus for diners to express gratitude to their heroines.
Lovingly conceptualised by Executive Chef Ben Zeng, diners can look forward to classic Cantonese dishes inspired by comforting home-style recipes commonly prepared by Asian mothers.
Available for sharing among four diners, the Loving Home Mother’s Day Menu features flavourful highlights of Sautéed Sliced Beef with Kai Lan in Oyster Sauce (芥兰蚝油炒牛肉), a family staple in Guangdong, as well as a tender Stewed Duck with Fragrant Yam in Fermented Beancurd Sauce (南乳香芋焖鸭) served hot in a claypot. Another note-worthy highlight is the Wok-fried Chinese Ramen with Seafood and Sakura Shrimps (樱花虾海鮮炒中华拉面), where the toppings of tasty Sakura Shrimps add fragrant texture to the delicacy.
Alternatively, diners can indulge in the six-course Joyful Mother’s Day Menu featuring luxurious seafood specialties of Braised Imperial Swiftlet’s Nest with Crab Meat served in Pumpkin (金盅蟹肉燕窝羹), Steamed Alaskan Crab with Egg Whites and Chinese Wine (花雕蛋白蒸阿拉斯加蟹肉) and Stewed Lobster with Inaniwa Udon in Signature Homemade XO Chilli Sauce (極品酱龙虾稻庭面).
Both menus include iconic peach-shaped Mini Longevity Buns, which symbolise a long, healthy life in Chinese tradition.
The Eight-course Loving Home Mother’s Day Menu is priced at SGD338 per table of four diners, while the Six-course Joyful Mother’s Day Menu is priced at SGD138 per diner. Our e-menus can be viewed here.
