Pan Pacific Tianjin Gives Back To The Community During Mid-Autumn Festival
On 11th September 2019, Pan Pacific Tianjin associates celebrated a memorable Mid-Autumn Festival with the young beneficiaries of the Prince of Peace Children’s Home.
Mid-Autumn is one of the most important traditional festivals in China and also an occasion to bond with family members and friends. On this festive occasion, our associates from Pan Pacific Tianjin celebrated it with special needs children from the Prince of Peace Children’s Home.
Led by General Manager Allan Wong, the team of 11 associates of hotel from Sales & Marketing, HCD, F&B, Housekeeping and Front Office visited the POPCH to share mooncakes and gifts. Our associates also taught the children how to make lanterns and all of them had fun in the activity. In return, the children put up singing and dancing performances.
POPCH commenced operations in October 2003 and is dedicated to providing care and comfort for children with special needs. It is home to 144 children from 1 to 13 years of age who suffer from various congenital illnesses such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome and limb deformities, and is managed by World Vision with funding from the Prince of Peace Foundation (POPF) and the Civil Affairs Bureau of Wuqing, Tianjin.
Pan Pacific Tianjin is committed to giving back to the communities around us. We hope our visit brought some smiles to the children and will continue to serve the underprivileged and needy in our society.
