Singapore: 20,000 meals for the Underprivileged through PARKROYAL on Beach Road and Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurants’ “From Our Hearts” initiative |
Most recently, PARKROYAL on Beach Road converted its banquet kitchen facility to a temporary halal-certified facility to provide halal meals to beneficiaries from Care Singapore and Children’s Society during the Ramadan season. Thanks to the concerted efforts by our culinary teams, we served over 20,000 meals as part of the Project Makan initiative. Organised by Social Kitchen @ YMCA and SHINE Children and Youth Services, it benefits low-income families with children whose access to free or subsidised school meals are disrupted by the circuit breaker. |
