Disabled Children of the Prince of Peace Children’s Home Pan Pacific Tianjin hotel tour
On 6th June 2019, the children of the Prince of Peace Children’s Home visited Pan Pacific Tianjin, to pick up basic knowledge on hotel products and hotel operation.
The children toured the Hotel’s F&B Outlets, Banquet rooms, various type of guestrooms, and finally to back of house areas such as uniform room, CCTV control room, F&B kitchens, etc.. Subsequently, Hotel Executive Housekeeper, demonstrated guest room bed making and cleaning skills to the children. This is one of the skill that Children Home Center equips the Children for future.
Finally, our Pastry Chef, Andy, conducted a pastry making class at Pacifica Restaurant. Chef Andy thought these disabled children to make alphabet cookies. The children managed to make alphabet cookies and successfully assembled the abbreviation of the Prince of Peace Children’s Home and Pan Pacific Tianjin. Hotel prepared Afternoon Tea for the Children and their teachers, and enjoyed the afternoon.
The Prince of Peace Children’s Home awarded Pan Pacific Tianjin with the “Training Base” plaque. Pan Pacific Tianjin is committed to giving back to the communities around us. Hopefully the children can know more about society and learn more life skill.
