PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering Voted Asia’s Leading Green Hotel for Sixth Consecutive Year
Singapore, 3 November 2020 – Since its inception, the iconic PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering has garnered numerous international awards in recognition of its unique hotel-in-a-garden design concept and commitment to sustainability. A landmark in the heart of Singapore’s vibrant Chinatown, the hotel has been voted Asia’s Leading Green Hotel for the sixth consecutive year at the World Travel Awards 2020, while also picking up a nomination for World’s Leading Green City Hotel.
Celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, the World Travel Awards has long been recognised as the hallmark of quality in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Voted by travel and tourism professionals around the globe, winners are seen as the industry standard in their respective fields to which others aspire.
The accolades come on the back of the hotel’s recent recognition at the annual Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP) Sustainable Hotel Awards 2020, winning the Sustainable Design category for its innovative approach to sustainable development.
